"Apologies" for not knowing you where not an IPS member give Dean/Palmmod a PM and ask for your badge to go under your avatar...

Pete :)

Pete :)

It should be remembered that it is by user request that the IPS Icon (demonstrating membership) is displayed. And for whatever reason, some people prefer not to make a big deal of their membership, and choose not to. Because of this discussion, Pip has asked to make this known.

So, don't be so quick to chastise a user for not "being a member." And because making people feel welcome, regardless of their status, is probably a better motivation for wanting to become one in the future.

So Pip didnt want his IPS icon shown, but he has it showing now ??, call me dyslexic or whatever, but above confuses me a little.. Apologies for wearing my heart on my sleave, Ive said enough about all the freeloaders , alright for "you" to ask the RedRabbit to Join, have a good think about what youve written above Dean.. It wasn't that I didn't want my membership status displayed. It just isn't something I felt was important to me, but since it is important to others I'm happy to acknowledge my membership.

Can we get back to talking about palms and other plants now?

Explaining how and why membership money would help pay for PalmTalk is more helpful than calling non-IPS Members "freeloaders."
