Do you really feel that Areca novohibernica and Areca guppyana are synonym? Don't you feel there are a difference? 

BUT:

Palmweb says: Areca novohibernica is the actual name, A. guppyana is a synonym.

Having seen Areca novohibernica in Singapore and seeing A.guppyana in Samarakoon's garden or in Doranakanda gardens, I see a difference. Maybe I am stupid?

, i also thought about this but it hard to tell there are no entire leaf photos, or full view of palm's  photo on  samarakoon's palm thread
