As it was almost impossible to take pics of the whole palm trees in the overcrowded hothouse of Berlin BG I took pics of details, e.g. only of the trunks. Here one dozen:

Wow awesome pics! Keep them coming. Are there any other indoor hot house gardens in Germany?

There quite a few in Germany, the most famous one is probably the Palmengarten (palm garden) in Frankfurt. I have not been to the one in Berlin, but when I used to live near Frankfurt, I visited the Palmengarten on a regular basis.

@Pal Meir Great pix!

There are many other botanical gardens in Germany which have a quite nice collection of palms. Especially university cities like Gießen or Heidelberg etc. have mostly their own collections. But also other “rich” cities like Hamburg or Frankfurt have their Planten un Blomen or Palmengarten. — Below a pic of an A. cunninghamiana, one of a lot of palms which I had grown up and later given away to Bochum BG which possesses also a nice collection:

According to Henderson 1995 and Kew there is no »C. alata«, but only a C. alta as synonym to C. barbadensis:
