I'd keep them in pots. Although I have no idea how quick they grow in the UK but are relatively fast in my climate if the soil is kept from drying out.

If kept in pots how often do i water them my soil stays wet for some time.I water with 6 liters per trachy once a week or maybe twice my biggest got nice green leaves but leaves are still closed and i dont know why this is why I thought of temporary transplanting all 3 and want them to grow fast. But if they do well in pots then shall be it.but I need a good soil.what soil mix do you use for potted trachy.

Ive had similar challenge palm789, 3 T. fortunei in my case with 3' of trunk each. Still to move house.

Ive elected to just plant them with pots on; makes for easier dig later on, less worry on watering and it looks better.
