56dcd2f995ba6_IMG_5183fsklein.thumb.jpg.Due too bad management / planning some 20 years ago there were hundreds of these palms cut down by the electricity company as they started growing near too the high tension lines!

Location: KC Garden, Nimitmai Rd., Bangkok

At least they cut it off close to the ground.  Around here they often "top" the palm tree a little below the power lines.
