    These are in Huntington Beach. The Rosstens both died, and their house got sold. I suspect that Royal has been sent to Royal heaven, alas.

    It isn't mine. This was in their backyard, but the yard was small, and the kids didn't need the house, and no one could move it. Alas.

    Nice canopy, how many years of growth does it mean in the californian climate?

    (I still see most of my palms from above, so I am looking forward to enjoying such a canopy)

    That Royal had to be at least 30 years old, if not more. The others more like 20 to 25.

    In Sri Lanka, I'll bet you'll get a lot of that in 10 years or less, though the Royals will still take some time to get that large.

    Alas, I think the big Royal was cut down.
