It was flowering many times, so I could know that it is male (»Ben Zîz« = Son of Palermo).

As I gave away almost all of my older palms in 2008 there are only two left which have the age of old-timers: Chamaerops Ben Zîz born in 1986 and now 36 yr old and a Trachycarpus wagneianus bonsai born in 2003 now 20 yr young.

2023-1986=37. 🤔 So Ben Zîz is already 37 yr old and not 36. 🧐
