Where do you buy pots?

Featured Replies

So where do you guys buy your pots from? I'm looking for some of those small, yet deep/tall pots that I can grow seedlings in. Preferably from a site that doesn't require you to buy a whole pallet full of pots.

Thanks, i'll check 'em out

They specialize in tree pots.

Also, there's Farrand Enterprises, right here in California.  That's where I get my pots, if I can't glom them off palmtalkers . . .

They'll sell at wholesale to normal people without a resale license. They have a lot of liners, etc., and I'm sure they'll ship cheap.

In Florida, you can basically find any sort of pot/liner tray/etc used. I buy/trade in bulk from a used pot dealer who also has a nursery and we normally trade my stock for pots. I do order small quantities of liner trays and grow bags online, normally Ebay or a company in Michigan that I forgot the name of.

I am working in a landscaping company. We have hundreds of used pots. We gift the pots every weeks at nurseries, customers and people that needs pots.

If you have near a nursery, you could ask them.

I suppose ancient ruins have their own interesting and long story^_^

I have gotten pots from outside my blue & gray BB. Store puts used pots & trays on steel racks for pickup by nursery truck. Truck driver told me his company never reused their pots so I was welcome to help myself and save him time and labor. And, this being FL, I've scarfed up quite a few black nursery pots lying on the side of the road.

I've gotten 4" x 5" deep black plastic pots from Novosel Enterprises on the internet. They are good for small palm seedlings because of their extra depth.

I also have a couple of eBay sources I use for 4" to 10" standard or azalea plastic pots.

I have pots coming out my ears and cant find anyone to give them to. All the local nurseries used to give me seedling pots and standard pots and great big ones too. I used scour the garage sales and sunday markets and discount days at hardware stores to get all my pottery ones. I managed to sell about 40 of the nice glazed big size pots but will still enough to last me a lifetime.

I came. I saw. I purchased
