The "I'm with Stupid" equivalent had me cackling. You know how to show travel companions a good time. I'm planning a tour of Oceanside, but likely won't start with Fire Mountain Cemetary. That is unless it has a bitchin' trachy!

Did we decide that those are Spindle x Bottle hybrids?  They look great now, and even after the winter from hell.  I thought one of those crowns rotted off.  Was it one of those or was it a now removed palm?  Nice pics Paul, no wonder you called me 800 times yesterday.

Your pics do a great job of representing that.

I'm also curious about which Hyophorbe or hybrid is in the photos. That collection is pretty intentional, and you have to wonder whose behind it.

Funny. I was just going to ask the same thing.

That old Dypsis leptocheilos had to of come from seed Mardy Darian collected back in the day. Art at Oasis has 5 a little smaller he pulled from a job he did over 20 years ago from seed Mardy gave him. The freeze fried them unfortunately. But a few look like they will pull through.

Wow. Am I going to hell because I laughed at the "I'm with stupid" thing? I liked seeing what was it, Trithrinax brasiliensis or acanthacoma? Thanks for sharing these Paul.

You and I are in the clear, Zac. Paul takes the hit on this one for coming up with it. Not even sure he's in too much danger. That marker is hilarious all by itself. I had to look at it again just now and laughed harder than the first time.

Paul - Once again a great tour! The palms just keep getting better and better.

That house next the the grave marker place in post #3 - looks like a "Tales From the Crypt" episode I remember :D

The "i'm with stupid" grave stones look like they open up at night!

That DHL place ought to get a IPS/ PSSC award it's really fantastic to see when landscapers/ companies use a nice variety of palms. My favorites are the Spindle x Bottle hybrids that MattyB ID'd, And the second photo in post #31. Is that a ceroxylon?

Thanks for the tour! :D
