a Reinhardtia I've never seen before.

3. Ravenea sp.?

1 is a Sabal all the way. Palmetto or minor is my guess. BTW Gileno, still nothing popping on the seeds you sent. I cracked the botryophora seeds, so they should be up soon.

How about S. etonia?

N48° 19'12.42", E18°06'50.15"

continental climate somewhat moderated by the influence of the mediterranean sea, atlantic ocean and north sea water masses but still prone to arctic blasts from the east as well as hot and dry summers. pushing the limits is exciting.

Gileno- The trips to tacolandia were great. I have pics but I haven't gotten any of them up yet. Check the palms of Sonora ThreadPalms of Sonora Here Richard has some pics of Washingtonia robusta, Brahea elegans, and Sabal uresana in habitat in Nacapule Canyon outside of San Carlos, Sonora. I will try to have pics up within a week or so. I just got back home finally last night, after 4 weeks on the road.

I could accept that it could be etonia, But Ryan, it is Def not mauritiiformis. That one is very distinct.
