John, I got the first seed from mine last spring.  I just cleaned them, soaked in water for a day or 2 and planted in a comm pot outside.  I found they grow as easy as the other Pthchosperma. They are now a few inches tall.

Understory, in the shade, marginal for 9b. If I have any luck, I'll be putting a few on my east side yard.........I just cleared out a spot where one of the compost stacks was for some Arch. purpurea (triple).....I may add these little guys there.

Always a chance, but only if you take it (of course, you know that!)

Mass planting 150 seeds on the chance some will make it.......you will get some for sure!
