Can some threads get a "shelf life" first?

Featured Replies

RLR, Bob (thanks to both of you)  and others,

What do you think about having some of the threads regarding "Soils, Fertilizers, Pests & Other Problems, SEED GERMINATION" etc., start out in the main area, THEN move to that section after roughly a month or so?

I've been thinking about it and some of the threads are asking questions regarding various situations regarding palm health, but some of the "veterans" may not be perusing that area to give answers!  I think a good "question" thread should get all the responses it can generate in a month, THEN be archived (more or less) in the appropriate section.

Any comments? suggestions?

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

It's certainly not a BAD idea, Bill.  But give us a week or so to iron out the other problems we're having and then maybe remind me of the request.  At the moment I can't even hardly get all the messages read/dealt with in whatEVER sections they are in.

I divided it up after going through all those msgs in the old foum, trying to decide whether a given thread/topic should try to be saved or not.  It was a mini-nightmare because, if you remember, at first not even plants/seeds for sale was a separate category  It was a mess  ;-))
