Ran across this massive sabal minor today. It is three times the size of a normal minor & loaded with seed to boot.

Thanks for sharing. Minors are one of my favorite smaller palms, and I feel like they are sorely underused in the landscape. How tall do you think that one is?

The fence is 6 ft.. Probably 7+ ft.

It is a nice one to be sure. I have a decent size one in my backyard, but it really is two that grew together. However, they still are impressive individually, but mass plantings of them can really give a tropical look. Are you going to help yourself to a few seeds? There are probably volunteers nearby.

They are like weeds here in the southeast. I usually cut the seed stalks off before they flower, or I end up with hundreds of seedlings scattered around.
