Dear Friends,

I had planted this Arenga Engleri palm in our garden.It was planted in the ground roughly on August 2014,Since i could not find

its stills or the planting video.Iam posting a present still of that palm.

Some details of the palm:

The exotic yet tropical Formosa Palm is one of the most adaptable palm trees for zones 8b to 11a. The Formosa Palm radiates tropical beauty and is also known as the Taiwan Sugar Palm. This clumping palm rarely grows more than 8 to 10 ft tall with a spread of about 16 FT if allowed. In its native habitat, the Formosa Palm enjoys moist soil and tolerates poor soils that have good drainage. The Formosa palm thrives in rich, slightly acidic well draining soils. Popular with south Floridians, It is best planted in a protected understory. The Formosa palm makes a great accent as it is considered to embody the tropical appearance of being on an island.

This rare palm is grown in coastal areas and is the most pest free palm in cultivation. The Formosa Palm is a great container palm as it grows so slowly it won't outgrow its pot or its space.
