Saw a commercial on TV the other day for Zespri Sungold Kiwifruit. Sweeter, more tropical in flavor and yellow in color. Caught my attention so bought some the other day when I saw them in the grocery store. Yum! Highly recommend and nutritious. Great chilled out of the refrigerator, slice and scoop. No fuzzy outer skin, and if you prefer something sweeter than the tangy green kiwifruit, this will win you over. Any other fans of the fruit out there?

Here's the company's website: http://www.zesprikiwi.com/home-consumers/zespri-kiwifruit/gold-kiwifruit

I discovered some people, particularly children, can have allergies, some severe to kiwifruit so wanted to pass that along too. Here's an article that helps explain it:

Also found this on Zespri's site explaining more on the allergy aspect and the enzyme that causes the reaction. Just want people to know about it should they have certain allergies already and maybe be sensative to the fruit. Even if you don't have food allergies it's good to know in case you serve something like this to others unaware of the possibilites.
