Is this Dictyosperma album v rubrum?

Featured Replies

Not sure where I got this little guy but he is untagged. I think it is Dictyosperma album v rubrum. Am I correct? If not, what is he?

Meg

Palms of Victory I shall wear

Cape Coral (It's Just Paradise)
Florida
Zone 10A on the Isabelle Canal
Elevation: 15 feet

I'd like to be under the sea in an octopus' garden in the shade.

It looks a lot like the small Dictyosperma album I have but mine was labeled conjugatum. Not sure if you can tell them apart at this age.

My Hurricane that size has a ton of red. I don't know which one I have but it looks different in that regard.

Do you know the variation at this time?

Meg,

If it were D. album var. rubrum, it would be showing a lot of red. It's probably just straight D. album.

Searle Brothers Nursery Inc.

and The Rainforest Collection.

:greenthumb: ..Lots of red. Wish they'd stay this way. Came from the height- challenged specimen at Kopsick.
