In June we picked up over 3/4" of rain, which is really unusual for Santa Barbara for the normally dry month of June. This was a 1 day rain event that lasted most of the day. Now they are predicting tropical moisture and a cold front to pass by here this weekend/early next week and . I'm wondering what we may get here with this other unusual situation.

I hope this materializes and that it is the precursor for the rainy season.
