Try John Case (Bepah). He had some really nice 5g plants in fall, I got a couple from him.

Great, especially since we don't have winters any more!! I also have a 6 foot plant which is great too, all out in the open.

Haha I know, right?! Vallejo got zero frost this year.. my banana plants, hedychium gingers and various other plants are still completely foliated! Usually they get some burn from the one or two nights a year that dip down to 32! It's been so warm this year. My cherimoyas look like they're defoliating early

I got some scorching on bananas away from the house opposite a hill (cold air drainage) but the ones against the house still have their leaves. Looks like we had those few cold-ish nights and that's it for this winter. I'll take it!

That's really impressive for your location!! I know a guy who lives in Concord who would make a big deal about my almost frost free location. You must be in a great microclimate! I've also noticed, that plants that are very well taken care of through the warmer months have much higher cold tolerance
