Cool link Keith - thanks for sharing!

Not quite sure why it's so interesting but it is? Some of the larger greenhouses must have been amazing places when they were up and running. Don't make things like they used to.

Very cool. Did y'all notice that looked to be a fibrous trachy trunk growing out of the top of the greenhouse?

There's abandoned GHs here in Cali, or at least there used to be, in North County.

(PTers? Show us some pictures?)

Greenhouses cost a lot to build, heat and maintain.

Neat pictures! I remember that Warrensville Greenhouse in Ohio. That tree used to be a LOT smaller. Poverty kills greenhouses. The Cleveland area where Warrensville is located, has fallen on hard times.

Let's keep our forum fun and friendly.

There's an elderly lady in the county south of me that has an orchid greenhouse business. She must have 20 greenhouses, of which maybe 5 or 6 are being used. The rest are all overgrown and abandoned for years. I found myself more drawn to them than the ones she was using!

There's also an old nursery in Knoxville, TN that has dozens of abandoned greenhouses on site, but the nursery is still operational. It's an eerie sight!

Thanks for that link. I'll have to check the links fully when I have more time.
