Josh, just as well the Bottle has a lean and has lifted its game otherwise it would be "going", and the spindles days are numbered , they look far better on the coast, so the best "1" will stay and 2 will go.

Pete :)

Pete, those are the best Bottle palms I've seen. Lots of them here, but most folks don't really take care of them.

They look great.

Looks like the Bottle is a little bit horny, looking for some action.

To be able to read posts from folks in Australia and Hawaii before dawn in Puerto Rico and then stroll to take a snapshot of mine as soon as the sun is up- just amazing technology!!!!

I know the light isn't ideal but I am too impatient to wait.

Good Morning Pete!

I love your bottles and used to get frustrated that mine were leaning towards the light as well...but not anymore!! They're gorgeous palms and mine are at that juvenile stage where you can really appreciate the "bottle". Thanks for posting.

Pete,

Don't you like the hybrid Verschaffeltii x lagenicaulis (Hyophorbe Cherry)? How about Hyophorbe indica in your garden?

Do some other Palmtalkers grow these species and show pics?
