Mont Fleuri Botanic garden, Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles

Featured Replies

After (or before visiting again) Peradeniya in Kandy, and after discovering the wild nature of the Vallée de Mai on Praslin island, we were happy to discover this lovely botanic garden in Victoria.

If a palm-addict is traveling in Seychelles , he must visit Mont-Fleuri too.

I am considering travel to the Seychelles in conjunction with the IPS sponsored trip to Madagascar so this is timely information with lovely photos Philippe. Thanks!

Any suggestions about flying between the Seychelles and Madagascar?

Or any other suggestions regarding a Seychelles trip? Thanks so much!

Cindy,

Since I sacrificed myself for bringing back pictures of Lodoicea and the Vallée de Mai, maybe you should do the same for discovering Roscheria in habitat (it should be on Mahé island).

(I saw only planted Roscheria).

I have a very short experience since I stayed 2 days ( 3 nights) in Seychelles, mostly on Praslin.

Surely you'll enjoy there.

I have no info on Madagascar-Seychelles flights, but when you're in Seychelles, you can embark a Colombo flight and come to visit us in Sri Lanka :)
