A beautiful palm.I have one that is just stating to show some trunk.Cant wait for it to look like the trunks in your photos.

Actually we didn't see many seeds. what you see in the third pic is the wrapping ( sorry for this stupid word, I don't know how to tell) of the inflorescence.

Seeds are small like for Ptychosperma species.

This is mine with an overall height of 3m. Not a fast growing palm, but not my slowest either.

Are you it's not  a Nephrosperma ?
I can't see very well on the picture, maybe I am wrong.

 Thanks for sharing the pictures.  Now there's another palm I want.  I really do like palms that have thorns on the trunk.  The growth rings on the trunk look real cool too.

Philippe, I can see why you are not sure.They are both very similar.I can tell you that this palm came from a very reputable source. I do not believe I have ever seen a Nephrosperma or mature Deckenia either so I am certainly no expert on this.

These look so nice one the thorns stop being so prominent.

Comparing with Deckenia nobilis in Thabit's garden and seeing again these pics, I really wish I can plant Deckenia in Doranakanda gardens.
