Here is a preview!

I'm not really sure about how prestoea are named, so if anyone would be willing to enlighten me, please let me know! I feel like nothing I read about them is consistent. Anyways, in habitat, many of them look very different! This one MIGHT be considered the Prestoea acuminata var. montana "red form"

I'm not sure if this is a Prestoea as well, but it doesn't quite look like it has a crownshaft.

A scenery shot… This is Lake Grand Etang which is an old volcanic crater. You can see how the trail creeps at the top of the crater ridge.

Those Euterpe broadwayi are spectacular. Btw, my cousin graduated from med school in Grenada. I never visited while she was there, but saw the pictures. Beautiful place.

Beautiful! I have always wanted to go there, and always heard it was the most beautiful of all the Caribbean islands. Do you remember at what elevation the Euterpe's were growing at? Thanks.
