At the start of our driest Summer here on record we had a "smashing" hail storm and this "now recovered" Clinostigma harladii was "smashed beyond recognition" along with many other Palms and Broms here. Not now, its bounced back and growing at mighty fine speed in Full sun since a seedling, thought I'd share.

It looks perfect! The close call only made it stronger I guess.

Paul, this has been in the 'full open" since very small and yes handles winter here very easily.

Sweet thanks Pete

No Problemo :)

Thank you Pete for showing such a lovely species,

It gives me some hope if your Clinostigma recovered from the drought since in Sri Lanka we got 4 months drought and I'll discover the results tomorrow.

It seems we lost Phoenicophorium and others…. time to plant again?

Kindest regards

Philippe
