Around the garden - Pics for posterity (selfies)

I felt the need to photo capture some palms this morning, and have me in some of the pics to give you an idea on the sizes, and for me to refer back.

Dypsis sambiranensis aka Dypsis pinnatifrons sp.pink crownshaft etc. recent new red/maroon leaf, note that the rachis also is red unlike some other Dypsis with new red leaves that have green rachis.

The A.maxima has outgrown everything by miles, the red banana has also been very very quick to grow.

Decided to group the broms in/on rocks instead of having them spread around, makes it easier to walk through.

Some on the eastern side. This is the side where most of the sunbake damage took place, especially to the Chambeyronias and Carpoxylons.

Here one of the Chambeys opened up a new maroon leaf, they'll all return.

Just cleverly left out of shot...:)

There are some that have produced new leaves in the last 2 months though.

Yes Daryl, some showers over the weekend and rain late last week, it's at the near perfect time, just the right temps with the odd shower. Lovely to walk around and appreciate stuff, I've a lot more work to do, weeding, more brom rearranging etc. I should be laying out mulch too.

As you say Wal, not too bad!

Thank you for sharing your pics. I am impressed by your palms!

Kindest regards
