I remember reading about this on PT a while back, where some plants actually generate heat, and this could be used to zone push. I couldn't find the topic though, so I let's discuss it. Here are some links explaining the phenomenon.

Apparently Philodendron bipinnatifidum ​is one of the plants that does this.

I doubt the plant would change the temp more than an inch or so from the plant so if you want warm up a palm it would have to be wrapped by these plants. I doubt that would be an attractive look.

Yeah, probably won't get rid of the C9s just yet but I still would like to put a few skunk cabbages around a seedling some time for the heck of it.
