Since I still dream about Clinostigma, I hoped to see pics of Clinostigma , thank you for posting.

Is the 0382.jpg Kerriodoxa? and others Arenga someone?

Happy new year to you too, from cold winter in Sri Lanka (Yes it's cold here, and grey clouds all the day... no rain - no sun!)

Kindest regards

Hi Philippe, 1st pic Dictyocaryum, 2nd Allogoptera caudesens, 3rd Astrocaryum ferruguinenium and yes 1 of our small kerriodoxas then a small Clino.

Ok, your obviously back home in Switzerland since you are posting and no doubt cold there, impossible to be cold in Sri lanka.

Pete :)

Pete,

I am posting from Kandalama Hotel in Sri Lanka (you can check some older pics I posted last year) it's really cool (if not cold).
Gladly I am not in Switzerland yet, still 10 days here: Day after tomorrow in Kandy (Peradeniya gardens...)

Your small Clino is already nice!

Aloha Philippe, I am following this great post with all of the wonderful pictures people contributed. I also need help with something:

We have Arenga tremula, caudata, and several variations of hookeriana; all of which are supposed to be glaucus on the underside of their leaves, but none of them are!

I hope someone can explain this for me.

Thanks in advance, Lee

PS: Mike and I just started a White post. I hope Dr. George or Al in Kona post there J. magnifica.
