Dr. George,

Im trying to germ Elaeis oleifera seeds I purchased from seedman.com.

Those suckers have a tough shell.

How did you germ your oil palm?

I soaked the seeds for 3 days then I cracked/chipped the outer

shell to expose the endosperm.

Im resoaking the cracked/exposed

seed with kelp fert.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanx.

Those decaryi look happier in a group Matty, and in an admirable position if I may say so.

Happy Gardening

Triangles look sweet Matt.

Here's one of my bizzys that almost died from transplanting. You can still see the stunted leaves at the bottom.post-5835-0-71173500-1382315520_thumb.jp

I got one little baby Ron. It's a strong grower even as a seedling. I've gotta figure out where to put it.

Would you say that is as majestic as the "roseanne barr" palm?

A lot skinnier, more graceful
