Nice to meet you!

Went down there a long time ago, more water than land. . . .

Glad they are doing well for you Cajun.

Thanks for the respite. Beautiful photos!

Cindy Adair

Your fourth pic in the first post looks a lot like Emerson point in Palmetto. There are tons of Royal palms growing wild in one of the trails there.

Hello Zeeth. All the photos were taken in Parrish FL on a 5 acre parcel of land with the acception of:

The second post of photos. Photo number 2 of the large Mule palm is Rubonia FL. This palm is no longer there as it was struck my lightening.

The second post of photos. Photo number 5 these Mule palms are no longer there and are now a line of Cuban royals in Parrish FL

The third post of photos. Photo number 1 of Sereno repens was taken on state land by Bishop harbor which I believe to be part of the Terra Ceia reserve.

It's a jungle out there! Stunning. Is that a philodendron selloum climbing? That is AWESOME. Wonder if mine will ever do that in our climate?

Tropicdoc,

Back in the day this property was used for pollinating and propagating philodendron seeds. Philodendron seeds to not stay viable very long and do not store well. So any seeds they did not sell he would take and plant in the crowns and the boots of some of the palms so not only are the climbing up but they are climbing down as well. There are some places you can walk from palm to palm on the philodendrons.
