Beautiful garden Paul, great choice of Palms.

With the recent high temps and low humidity in SE Qld/Nth NSW "proves" Bentinckia condapanna "does and looks best" esp when young in filtered light as the "very broad leaflets " bleach or are easily burned, heres 4 pics to show the "big difference" Pete :)

Thanks Pete for the heads up, both condapannas are in sheltered positions, only cause I read your threads on condapannas before I bought them, I'm always blown away with the palms you post, gives me a great indication of what I can get away with in Brisbane, well sort of get away with. :yay:

Well the seasons are changing here, so thought I would post a few garden pics, a lot has changed since my original posting, a few palms have moved, a few have died and a few have been planted. So here is my front yard

Wow! What a spectacular garden! Great job and incredible collection of palms :) some serious wow factor going on there. I can only imagine what another ten or so years will bring :)

Paul you have created a piece of art which will only grow more beautiful with time. :greenthumb:

Paul, yours and Richie's posted 2day , "finally" , better late than never :) hope they arrive in good condition and dont 4get to get em out of the cut down 4" pot and straight into a bucket of "cool" rainwater for a day so they stand back up again "if" they arrive a little floppy. You both got 3 good size plants for your "patience n keenness", you got the last of my "reserves" so no more available sorry for anyone keen.

All best with them Paul n Richie, they should do very well, I looked up your temps Richie and you pretty much have "Big Island" ave temps of day mean ave = 28c and nights of 17c, sounds pretty "perfect" for Dictyocaryum's. :)
