Selling speciman palms in Florida...Who to call?

Featured Replies

I have a very dear friend that wants to sell two Phoenix canariensis and a Butia capitata. They are very large palms including a curved canary. I didn't know who to contact that would be interested in purchasing palms of this size as it would require a professional mover. I included photos and measurements. They are located in Port Charlotte, Florida, very easy access. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the odd photos, these were actual images, that I took a photo of. She is quite old school!

I would think Ken Johnson could help you out

The first canariensis looks like its dying.

Agreed, I wouldn't hold my breath for any offers on any of those, just saying.

I did notice that. I am going to ask her about it.

They are common, old and look like no one's taken care of them for decades. Don't this personally but I don't think she could give them away.

I haven't seen them in person. I am going to ride over there tonight. She gave me the photos last night. I wasn't sure about them after seeing the pics, but told her I'd try nonetheless.

Ken can always help move a palm...don't know if theyre worth the expense.
