I knew this plant was fast as witnessed by Dick Douglas' palm in Walnut Creek. Mine has grown quickly also- I had it in a 5 gallon at the beginning of Spring and since my planting site wasnt ready I had to put it in a 15 because it was so tightly root bound in the 5 I had to soak the entire pot to get water to it.

I moved it from the 5 gallon to this 15 during the first week of May. Good thing my planting site is ready, this plant is rooting in the ground! Wow!

Nothin' like that ol' hybrid vigor. Those things are rockets. I wish I had room for one. The one I thought I had turned out to be a plain old pindo so I dug it out and sold it to a client. ;(

Contact Patric, he does mail order. PM me and I'll get you his contact.

If you don't mind waiting, my p. cocoides is blooming and my pollen is going to various of the folks doing hybrids. The prices will come down. My own cocoides is getting queen and coconut pollen.
