This is more geared towards the hobbyist/backyard growers. I would love to see some makeshift yard houses or prefabed ones as well. Anyone have their houses ran with a small irrigation setup?

I've been toying with the idea of buying 2 6x5 ebay greenhouses and just cover one up in shade cloth and then running micro spray tubing along the side. The 2nd setup i've considered is one 6x5 hothouse and a 10x10' canopy with shade cloth walls since those are readily available. I could always attempt to make one with PVC and have it directly hooked up to the sprinklers but that would be much more effort

This is a wallmart greenhouse i had up last winter. it is now put up for the summer they run aroung 250.00 but work pretty good with a space heater.

My preference is the poly-tunnel. This is mine taken 5 years ago, a few months after I got into palms, when I thought that being a "mad scientist" meant being able to grow every palm species on Earth. Oh, how I tried and the money spent! I'm still on the run.
