Several months ago I bought a small shade house, after a few weeks out in the weather the cheap fabric tore and so I placed the frame in the shed for later. Later was yesterday when I decided to wire on some shade fabric I had spare and set it up near Bromeliad Boulevard. Also in the shed was an even smaller hothouse I've had for years, I placed that in a nearby position as well. The only seeds I had were an envelope of Nannorrhops ritchiana seed (were waiting in the fridge) sent to me many moons ago from my old pal Stephen who at that time was in Broome WA. My grand daughters sewed the seeds in some mix and we placed the coolite container in the hothouse. Into the shadehouse went a one leaf sprout of Arenga boreensis and a wee Pritchardia pacifica. Some pics, you may laugh, as long as we're all happy, that's the main thing, :D.

Almost cleverly disguised behind some golden canes and foxtails.

Excellent project especially with help from your family.

Gratifying and now you even have more room in your shed for more stuff you might put to good use later.
