Nice palms. I'll be doing the same soon

I've never had any pests on my indoor plants. I spray them with insecticide one time before I initally bring them into the house.

What do you use to control spider mites? Imidacloprid works well for scale and mealy bug, but has no effect on spider mites - and those seem to materialize out of thin air for me. (Nice palms, btw.)

Blast off the leaves often and then spray with an oil based spray. That will kill and control spidermites

Cool. The C. metallicas have done well for me also indoors. Ellis Brown of Redland nursery had some growing in their office and said they do very well in low humidity because of the leaf thickness.

Yours is pretty large now! Here's one of mine:

For spider mites, the best solution I've found is to mix up some neem oil and wipe the leaf surfaces manually with it. Get every surface and you should be mite-free for several months. Spraying alone never worked for me.

Awesome stuff. Klotschiana might hands down be my favorite chamy, like a green Dypsis pinnatifrons (which I never had luck with) so this is kinda my substitute.

Looking good , The C. klotschiana, i believe is from the same seed batch from Colin that i have .

Too many plants to do that. I had good results with a miticide I used last fall, but don't recall the name right now.

great looking belmoreana matty,

are they an easier grow than fosteriana? i have much better luck with chamadorea's and chamberyonia's inside, i can't seem to figure out the kentias.
