Nice palms there Dan, some rarer ones grown to perfection.... Well Done

Dan - how slow is your Actinokentia divaricata?

I'm only averaging one leaf about every 14 months. Last leaf opened in November and I have yet to see the spike leaf emerge.

Nice! No reds growing here. Matter of fact no rain either.

Nice Dan, yes Actinokentias go very red eh. Wanted to post this to show how long lasting D sambiranensis red leaf lasts , this is taken 2day and I did a thread a few weeks ago, by the time it fully fades a new red leaf opens so its always on show, only other red close by is a Chamby and a Pinanga caesia seedling :) Pete

Dan,

I live on Big Pine Key. Any advise on planting and location (sun/shade) for a Actinokentia divaricata in my yard?
