Where is the rain this Spring?

Featured Replies

Wicked storm last night, so much lightning and heavy rain. Then I get up this morning and its raining again. Almost 1.50" so far in the last 24 hours.

Our turn was early this morning, around 4aM, STORMS and heavy rains until about 7am. 1 1/2" of rain is easily the heaviest of the year so far, and welcomed in April. Now its May's turn to go wet and glancing at that blob in the GOM right now, I'd say chances are good Wed and Thur. Yes! :)

Begonias are my thing. I've been growing and selling them for three decades, nearly two in Tampa Bay. NPR is an bhour N of St Pete, coast

Also got some much needed rain (.84") from early morning storms. Today its hot (91f) and humid, feels like summer.

Wow - 8 to 10" of rain reportedly fell here in Coral Gables yesterday afternoon. Not sure the exact amount that landed in the Moose Land but a couple of my rain collectors were over flowing.

Almost another inch here and another summer-type storm. There was hail around too.

We've got light mist last two days, very normal, lots of sunshine so far in May, again, normal for this part of Japan.

My first post, done. I'm surely enjoying the education you all are providing . Great resource, this group!

Still pounding up in Louisiana. Got 6 more inches in last 48 hours. Our rainfall in April was almost double that of our all time record rainfall for the same period.
