Here is my way of staying rodent free. First the grey cat catches the prey. Then, since she just likes playing with them the orange cat comes in and takes a bite. Then my lab comes in and finishes them off!

Enjoy.

That's awesome! Since I don't have any animals currently, I use the "black box". 3 gophers in 2 weeks. ITS HUNTING SEASON

There's no way to "live trap" a gopher, so obviously if you want a garden you need to bait, trap, gas, etc. But if you find the dude just walking around I don't understand why you wouldn't just scoop him up and move him to a local park, canyon, median, roadside, etc.

Cats and dogs will learn to catch gophers resident in yards they frequent, if they're allowed out a lot. Back in San Berdoo, all my cats and a dog got good at killing gophers. The dog was quick, the cats, well, not so much.

My neighbor isn't controlling his, so I have to pull out my arsenal of poisons, gasses, fun fun fun.

I wish they'd stay in arroyos, etc. But they don't.

Let's keep our forum fun and friendly.

We don't have any gophers in SOFLA (Idon't think) but my mother's Rhodesian ridgeback keeps the yard clear of squirrels and oppossums. He grabs them and throws them up in the air a few times for the fun of it.

That doesn't happen there / So when you run make sure you run / To something and not away from
