I have seen that stuff up north. it looks very beautiful in a field--comes off as purple to me, or is that a different kinda grass I saw?

These seeds where hand collected in Parrish Florida then sent off to be cleaned and pelleted. Plant does well in zone 6 through 10. Late bloomer around Late September. It has many names that people have dubbed it. Also goes by Regal mist I believe.

The purple you are referring to could be the Purple Love grass. Eragrostis spectabilis. I can get seeds for that as well but they will not be ready to collect until October.

what do you consider a good price?

I can check with the grower we sold the seed to. That is where this photo was taken at that top.

$1.50-$2 I believe is wholesale quantity?

Love this plant. Have about 30 or so in my yard. Better choice for a mulched bed than purple love grass, which is a really nice plant as well, just isn't well suited for a formal landscaped bed. For a plant that likes wet feet, it also handles drought conditions extremely well.
