Hey Ken. Let me know when you're up this way. We can have a beer and talk 2014 Biennial.

By the way, what's the going rate for a Sabal causiarum, domingensis or maritima?

No one cares about your current yard temperature 🙃

Let me know Ray.....been trying to locate a S. causiarum for a couple of months now.....rare as hens teeth. Hate to think I might have to order a small one from California of all places.

Ken, is Winter Haven close enough to Tampa? Would like some big, hardy Livistonas (e.g., nitida, australis, mariae, etc). I'm thinking I may be champaign shopping with a beer wallet right now because I've had two (yes 2) air conditioner mother boards (& they are located 180 miles apart!) fry this week. I only have 3 a/c units! Grrrr. Anyway, I may be broke till April/may but thought I'd ask.

Land O Lakes FL, a suburb on the North Side of Tampa, FL

Summers are great, 90f/32c in the day & 70f/21c at night with plentiful rain & sun

Winters are subtropical with occasional frosts and freezes. Tropical cyclones happen.

We have a few Royal palms in the warm microclimates but Coconuts freeze.

Ray, I am ready to talk '14 all the time, email, chat room, phone, Facebook. Just get me started and I will get things done. The Sabals I have grown and transplanted all have one thing in common...I don't make any money on them. By the time I get them sprouted, potted up, planted, grown to 12', rootpruned for over a year, then potted or help in plastic wrap on drip till it is fully recovered? then sell it for 2 or 3 hundred? Dang. I do have a very small assortment of Sabal but none you asked for (of coarse) but next time I'm up please order something.....Then we will have beer!

I may just have you covered Keith. One of your neighbors is a friend of mine and he needs a 15' macroglosa.....
