Areca - Wikipedia

Featured Replies

Seems like Wikipedia have their Areca information slightly wrong. They state that Areca's are single stemmed. Maybe someone should tell them? If you click on Areca triandra, it describes it as clustered, so they were correct there !

Wikipedia, like Palmpedia, is a wiki. There is no "them." All the entries are made and added to by a community. Anyone can create an account and edit/change any of the information on any of the pages. You can create an account, and change it yourself. That is the purpose of a wiki. Palmpedia is improved by people who register and add photos, or a species, correct spelling, and add interesting information.

I think the Palmpedia pages for all the Areca are much better than wikipedia's. Lot's more photos and info.

Thanks Matty - and Ed gets the credit for most of the recent work on Palmpedia. He is just a guy who registered and started contributing - something anyone can do.
