C. houilou is an extremely fast grower for me. Out of the dozen Chambeyronias I have, this one is a rocket & always looks flawless. Another new leaf today. Enjoy :wub:

C. houilou is an extremely fast grower for me. Out of the dozen Chambeyronias I have, this one is a rocket & always looks flawless. Another new leaf today. Enjoy :wub:

This is "fine example" Randy of "palms performance" when they are planted in a "sweet spot". :) Pete

I agree completely except no red/pink leaf on mine..

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

This is true. My C. houilou isnt showing any red yet so I had to refer to the default.

No worries, a houilou with red is the exception, not the rule.. :D But seems more prevalent in humid areas..

My houailou is pink, not red, but it is getting a stronger coloring with each new leaf...
