If necessary, a breakfast burrito is good, too, with plenty of bacon, egg and a bit of salsa.

Grits are coarsely ground corn kernels. I put a half a cup of water and a half a cup of cream in a sauce pan, bring it to a boil, reduce to simmer, then add a half a cup of grits and stir often for 20-30 minutes...while stirring I add cheddar or velveeta cheese. Then season to taste.
