Heres some pics of our recent trip by car then boat to Phang nga bay .

An hours drive by car north of Phuket Island we got on a small longboat to head out into Phang nga bay which is full of very scenic vertical limestone island including the famous "James Bond Island" :) where they filmed "the man with the Golden Arm' around 30 yrs ago. Many of the islands have caves and or are hollow beneath so boats could easily pass under.

The small island infront of the larger island with tourists on the beach is "James Bond Island" :)

We stopped at an inhabited island for a yummy buffet lunch.

The pic of the longboat speeding through the water is to show how the propeller is a good 10feet behind the boat, these boats are the same as the longboats in Bangkok which all have 6 cylinder engines and if the prop gets weeds attatched the driver pushes the engine down which lifts the prop out of the water and puts it in reverse and all the weed flies off. :)

Back on the mainland of Phang nga which is also very scenic we stopped at a cave which has a huge Laying Buddha and many monkey which Carlos, Tiger and Shakira had fun feeding them. These monkeys where"much more calm and friendlier" than the monkeys at monkey forest in Ubud Bali.

On the way back home we stopped at one of favourite places to eat and enjoy the ocean view at Kata Noi which shows lovely heavy rain fast approaching, Carlos was pretty tired by now and we headed back to our fantastic accom which has a pic of Tiger on the beach, will post more pics later of our accom and beach where we stayed. Thanks for viewing, this was my 7th time to Thailand, we love Thailand very much, Beautiful people and Stunning food.

Thanks Troy, the stunning warmth, Luscious food , fruits , fruit smoothies and relaxing fun times with my family certainly has helped "Immensely" to a faster recovery. Seeing gardens and scenery in Thailand and Singapore plant energises people not even into plants, I Love plants so much that Yes my "keenness is even more energised" A Great Feeling.. :) heres a shot of me on a hill above our accom where i walked daily and relaxed..my arms are so skinny as i hadnt lifted a thing for 2 months, I was also in too much pain to have all my sleeve and chest tats done. :) ...I think Buddha helped me out too.Theres a pic of Cass and the boys walking up to see if im OK :)

The pre-biennial trip should take us to see this magnificent part of Thailand. Enjoyed the pictures! Can't wait for the boat ride in the caverns, and my wife can't wait to hand feed the monkeys :rolleyes: Thanks Pedro for giving us a preview of what we will experience there. Will we see you there in September?

Bill, Yes friend, next time in Thailand spend some time in Phuket and visit the stunning Phang nga bay area and also the Beautiful Phi Phi Islands, we didnt go to Phi Phi again this trip as it was raining pretty heavy a lot and Ive been there 3 time already.

Cindy, we all had lots of fun, you will love every day you are in Thailand.

Aleko, very glad to share some pics.

Bo, I see the Pre Biennial tour is in Trang Krabi, if you have a spare day certainly High Speed boat to Phi Phi Islands which is very close and very very beautiful. What a stunning time you will all have in Thailand on all your tours.

Wal, Ive told you before but will say it again..You will love Thailand so much you will be back in a flash with your wife, then many times again.

Frank, as I wrote above to Bo, if you go to Trang Krabi for the Pre Biennial and have a spare day High Speed Boat to Phi Phi or as many Islands as possible in Phang nga bay, no I wont be there in September but "everyone will have an absolute ball", have fun.

What spectacular scenery! Loved the "James Bond" island pics and the beaches are so beautiful. It's easy to see why this is a favorite destination for you and your family. So happy you are enjoying your recovery period with some relaxation abroad and sharing the photos here. Plenty of chances to lift things later on.

Absolutely Kim, Im so happy just to be alive and I have plenty of time to start lifting heavy things again, and Yes this is our favourite family getaway.
