Manicaria saccifera seed sprouting

After ten years or so in the ground my Manicaria saccifera finally set seed and the first of those seeds has just sprouted, :D interesting colour too.

Hello, am wondering if you did anything to the Manicaria seed (soaking, scarifying, etc...) to speed/help incite germination?  I find these on the beach often, most are in no shape to attempt to germinate but a few are.  Looks like a neat palm and a rare one to find in a garden.

Hi Clay, I soaked them for a week or so and then placed them on a heat pad until they germinated 32 degrees C
