He was a heavy smoker, so he probably should have lived longer. Something of a swinger, too.

Illegal to wed a monkey in California, it had to be an ape.

The last sentence of the article states when the chimp "didn't like what was going on, he would fling feces and other objects."

Is this really newsworthy? Was it absolutely necessary to muddy his reputation upon his passing? Daily News should be ashamed - their tagline ought to be All the Sh^t Fit to Fling

A chimpanzee wearing a tuxedo walks into a bar, climbs up a stool, and taps his index finger on the countertop.

The bartender, taken aback, turns to a patron at the other end of the bar and asks "What should I do?"

The patron shrugs and says "Pour him a drink - what the heck?"

The bartender pours out a whiskey/rocks, walks over and sets the drink in front of the chimp.

The chimpanzee pulls a wallet from his back pocket, extracts a $100 bill, and holds it out to the bartender.

The bartender takes the bill, walks over to the guy at the other end of the bar, and asks "He just gave me a $100 bill - now what should I do?"

The customer says, "Keep it, give him back $10 change- he's a chimp, for cryin' out loud."

The bartender puts the $100 in the register drawer, takes a $10, and walks over to the chimp.

As he's handing the chimp the $10, the bartender says "We don't get many of your kind in here."

The chimp takes the $10, puts it in his wallet, sticks it back in his pocket and says "At $90 a drink, I'm not surprised."

Matty, you need to go see "The Descendants." Not too many palms, but quite a bit of Oahu and Kauai and a slack-key sound track. After that, check out "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" to see why San Diego should try to attract more English tourists. We get loads of 'em in Orlando.
