Thanks Rafeal, i just wish i cut that silly dead frond off before i took the pic.. :) .so much posting , i was too rushed :D Pete

I have seen pictures of Jeff Marcus' blue decipiens which is probably the same palm as yours. It is a spectacular plant. JD anderson is selling Dypsis betafaka that has a blue tint to it and looks like a Decipiens type palm. Hopefully it turns out to be the same palm. I have had several of the Betafaka's from Jeff Marcus, but they do not seem to have the blue color of the JD anderson Betafaka. There was a nice on here in Encinitas that had a few feet of trunk and an orange leaf base when the oldest leaf fell off. It was a spectacular plant until his neighbor built a two story house next to it and shaded it out. It died a year or two ago.

Great looking palms!

Thanks Jeff and Aaron, their size is Deceiving as well, still far from monsters but im happy with their speed of growth, heres a pic of 2 of my youngest children to give some scale. I should take a pic of the silver blue one tonight with a flash, iy certainly

brings out the colour. Another point with the silver one is apart from being single, the spears colour is flat not glossy like the others.
