The Palms along Mission Blvd in Mission San Jose District of Fremont, CA. have good history connected to the early horticulturalists E.L.Beard,Meek,Sisters, Don Juan Gallegos in the 1800s. There are allees of ancient phoenix, Brahea, Livistona and Washingtonia palms within this area that give it a spiritual feel. Ancient norfolk island pines

Ohlone College on Mission has several varieties of phoenix and a palm bosque planted out with phoenix from the old palm rd, which is now the south entrance road in to the college.

Adeline off Washington you have St. Mary of the Palms Girl School allee of ancient phoenix abd washingtonia.

Along Washington you have allees and sections of ancient washingtonia and phoenix all the way to Fremont Blvd.

Mission/Las Palmas you have queens and washingtonia

Mission and Mayhews washingtonia grove

Then you come to the California Nursery Company Historic Park in the Niles District of Fremont which dates back to 1884. You have Nurserymen Rock, Fox , Landers Nakamura, Serpa and four generations of Roedings. From Mission you can see the old nursery grounds with its allees of palms. Phoenix, Washingtonia, Brahea, Butia, Kentia, Jubaea, Queen, King and Sabal.

Then you come to the Masonic home on Mission Blvd. in Union City where a grand allee of ancient phoenix palms frame an ancient landscape. Next you come to Mission and Hollyhock where ten jubaeas are started on each side of the neighborhoods entrance.

At the Mission Community garden and Teen Bike Shop you'll find six brahea armatas.

On Mission and Whipple you'll find trachys, chamaerops and queens.

Mission and Tamarack Cedar Deodaras Grove.
