Full sun by fence for years  2 of them . At cold I do protect w sheets or maybe light but even when I didn’t it recover just fine. The reason I like to protect because I don’t want to take chances and also it gets fuller as they don’t get any damage

im in Jacksonville Florida at Pulaski exit
