I love seeing palm trees in landscapes, so I decided to share some of my palm tree landscape photos! Feel free to share yours from around the world!

The one I find most fascinating is the Washingtonia robusta on Tampa Bay. It seems so random where it grew and so impossible.

You've got a real talent for photography there Kyle. That Washy photo is so engaging. Thanks for sharing.

To the right of the Veitchias, in one of the Fairchild pics is a big Syagrus botryophora. These photos are great for clearing your mind of its worries. Most of us who looked this thread over were somewhere else for a good minute or two--not easy to do that! Thanks for posting :)

I have a couple of pictures to share; these are from a trip that I took with a friend to Belize to find a new Zamia.

Some Attelea cohunes along the banks of the Temash River, this is located 15 miles south of Punta Gorda in south Belize.

Thank you everyone for the compliments! I think the Washingtonia in Tampa Bay is pretty incredible too! I was just there a month ago, and it was sadly gone :( It was by some pull-up bars I sometimes do gymnastics on at Vinnoy Park across from Kopsick! hehe!

Tom! Your photos of the Attalea are amazing! That must have been such a unique experience looking for the zamia... I'm sure you saw tons of other interesting plants and animals along that river. It's cool seeing Attalea in their habitat.

Thank you Maxim for your Egyptian photos! I bet those palms produce delicious dates!

No, we did not find the Zamia that we were looking for. The area that our sources pointed us too, had been hit by a hurricane 4 months earlier. We had to use machetes to get in due to the road no longer being passable. With all of the downed trees and braches we could have walked right past the plant we were looking for and never seen it. When I get a chance I will post my pictures of my trip.

Kyle- Your photos are professional quality...you should frame them and sell them. Obviously your are not using your iphone like I do...what's your camera of choice?

The weight of lies will bring you down / And follow you to every town / Cause nothin happens here

That doesn't happen there / So when you run make sure you run / To something and not away from

Cause lies don't need an aero plane / To chase you anywhere
